Spring 2024 Internship
The Claremont Institute is seeking enthusiastic, hard-working, intellectually curious candidates to intern (in-person) at our Washington, D.C. office. Interns will assist staff and scholars at Claremont’s Center for the American Way of Life. We provide training and guidance to each intern, along with educational roundtables and lectures in collaboration with other organizations in the area. The position is in-person and can be full time or part-time to accommodate class schedules.
While the exact start and end dates are negotiable, the spring internship typically runs from early January until the middle of May.
Duties and responsibilities may include
◾ Research assistance
◾ Editing and drafting memos
◾ Social media
◾ Event planning and hosting
◾ Data entry
◾ Pitching articles
Requirements
◾ A methodical approach to research
◾ Excellent writing and research abilities
◾ A keen eye for detail
◾ Organizational skills
◾ Proficiency with Microsoft Office
◾ Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
◾ A passion for, and a desire to advance, the mission of the Claremont Institute
◾ Knowledge of American history and politics preferred
Salary range
Internships are paid, and college credit may be available.
