The Claremont Institute is seeking enthusiastic, hard-working, intellectually curious candidates to intern at our Washington, D.C. office. Interns will assist staff and scholars at Claremont’s Center for the American Way of Life. We provide training and guidance to each intern, as well as the opportunity to work in an environment deeply immersed in the principles of the American Founding. The position is in-person and can be full time or part-time to accommodate class schedules.
Duties and responsibilities may include
◾ Research assistance
◾ Editing and drafting memos
◾ Social media
◾ Event planning and hosting
◾ Data entry
◾ Organizational skills
◾ A keen eye for detail
◾ Excellent writing abilities
◾ A methodical approach to research
◾ Proficiency with Microsoft Office
◾ Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
◾ A passion for, and a desire to advance, the mission of the Claremont Institute
◾ Knowledge of American history and politics preferred
Internships are paid, and college credit may be available.
